Position Summary: The Westchester County office is seeking an entry level and recent college graduate paralegal to join its Real Estate team. The real estate paralegal will provide organizational and practice specific assistance to attorneys in the Real Estate Department in all stages of real estate transactions. Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with transactions from contract/loan commitment to post closing. Prepare documents for real estate closings. Preparing corporate organizational documents and organizational charts. Prepare and file UCC filings. Assist with and organize due diligence materials. Conduct research. Review, redline and proofread documents. Prepare and track files and maintain calendars and deadlines. Prepare and timely submit timekeeping reports. Prepare real estate closing binders. Perform day to day general paralegal duties. Skills & Competencies: The ideal candidate will be an analytical self-starter and have the ability to take ownership of projects with limited supervision.
