Looking for an associate with four to six years’ experience to join Real Estate practice in the New York office. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: · Prior experience in commercial real estate transactional work strongly preferred, particularly the representation of sophisticated investors in commercial real estate debt and equity acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and financings. · JD from accredited law school. · Licensure to practice law in the state of New York. · Excellent academic credentials. · Major law firm experience. · Excellent, writing, organization, attention to detail, interpersonal communication skills and entrepreneurial spirit required. · Excellent independent discernment, and the ability to collaborate with attorneys in other offices and practice groups. We have an urgent need for a Real Estate Associate in the Palo Alto Office. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in handling real estate transactions in some but not necessarily all of the following areas: acquisitions and dispositions, construction and permanent financings, joint ventures, and the leasing of commercial office, retail, and industrial space Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key: ability to attentively listen, actively engage, and concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form. A strong work ethic and an interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for client matters will add to your success on our team. Strong academic credentials in law coursework are highly valued. ​Bar Admission in California is strongly preferred.
