Seeking a Common Interest Development Associate with 3-5 years of transactional experience in common interest developments (condominiums and planned developments) in our Walnut Creek office. The ideal candidate will be able to assimilate with our small CID group and work well independently and with instruction. Must possess excellent writing skills, be detail oriented and extremely organized. Ideal candidates will have graduated in the top of their class and have relevant work experience from a top tier law firm, governmental agency and/or judicial clerkship. Experience in preparing governing documents (CC&Rs, articles of incorporation, and bylaws) and related easement and land sharing agreements for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments is also required. Established firm is seeking a mid to senior-level Corporate Transactional Associate Attorney to add to its rapidly growing transactional practice. The ideal candidate will have at least four years’ experience emphasizing corporate, business and commercial transactional matters, as well as some familiarity with real estate transactions. This position involves working directly with senior partners in managing a broad-based book of transactional work. The work is interesting, fast paced, with an emphasis on client service. The selected candidate will play a key role in the continuing expansion of the firm’s transactional practice, and will be primarily based in the Walnut Creek office. The firm's ideal candidate is someone with an eye towards growth and the potential for partnership and enjoys interesting and challenging assignments. You possess a good understanding of general corporate and commercial law, have significant experience working on sophisticated M&A and other business transactions for private companies, and understand the need for superior client service and satisfaction as keys to success in this role. A JD from a top-tier ABA approved law school and current membership with CALBAR is required.
