Seeking an associate with 3 - 5 years of experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in its Jacksonville office. The Transactions Practice Group is integrated nationally and principally handles securities matters for publicly and privately held middle market/upper middle market companies, private equity funds, family offices and others. As a result, this position will involve working with Foley lawyers and transactions based in Jacksonville, as well as various other Foley offices. The ideal candidate will have sophisticated document drafting skills, the ability to manage transactions and complex projects, and extensive financing, and real estate transactions experience. Strong corporate and securities law experience, including securities law compliance counseling and public company is required. The candidate must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic, coupled with a desire to be part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment with direct interaction with both senior partners and clients. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the state in which the candidate is admitted to practice.
