The Cleveland office is seeking a senior-level associate/junior partner to join its real estate team. Candidates should have five to ten years of law firm or corporate law department experience handling the following: drafting and negotiation of substantive purchase agreements, leases (office, retail and industrial), joint development agreements, construction contracts, and other core real estate transaction documents; managing multi-site acquisitions and divestitures, including coordination of diligence and closing preparation; handling nationwide commercial leasing (landlord or tenant); drafting and negotiating substantive financing documents (borrowers or lenders); and preparation of legal opinions. The position is structured to provide the candidate with a high level of client contact, as well as an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement. Seeking an associate to join its Construction group in the Cleveland office. The ideal candidate will possess two to four years of real estate and economic development experience, including public and private financing, acquisitions and dispositions, risk management, design and construction agreements and build-to-suit leases. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, a strong work ethic, excellent writing and research skills, as well as the ability to establish strong client and peer relationships.
