Firm with an immediate opening in the Greenville office for a part-time, experienced commercial real estate paralegal. This position offers a flexible work schedule of approximately 25 hours per week. Knowledge of all aspects of title insurance and surveys for commercial real estate closings is required. Day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing title exceptions, coordinating due diligence activities, review and preparation of sale and loan documents, research of corporate and UCC filings, preparing closing checklists and scheduling transaction progress, general internet research, completing general post-closing items and binders, and overall support to commercial real estate/lending/land use group. A two-year degree in paralegal studies or NALA certification and a minimum of 2 years of applicable experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal is preferred. Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
