Looking for an associate with four to six years’ experience to join Real Estate practice in the New York office. In this role you will gain meaningful experience in the practice of real estate law and real estate finance, with a primary focus on complex transactions for sophisticated investor clients. The group focuses on acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financing transactions, development deals and distressed asset investments. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: · Prior experience in commercial real estate transactional work strongly preferred, particularly the representation of sophisticated investors in commercial real estate debt and equity acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and financings. · JD from accredited law school. · Licensure to practice law in the state of New York. · Excellent academic credentials. · Major law firm experience. · Excellent, writing, organization, attention to detail, interpersonal communication skills and entrepreneurial spirit required. · Excellent independent discernment, and the ability to collaborate with attorneys in other offices and practice groups.
